Receipts will only be sent when the following conditions are met:
1. When the payment transaction status returns as 'successful', AND
2. When an opportunity has Receipt Status: Send Receipt, Receipt Method: Email, and Send Receipt Now (via Email): Checked.
3. The receipt will be sent to the Contact's receipt email or email for individual donations. For Organisation donations, the receipt will be sent to the Organisation’s Receipt Email.
4. Once the receipt is sent, it will update the opportunity Receipt Status to 'Receipted'.
Please note that there is unfortunately no ability to preview email receipts before they are automatically sent.
Generate Consolidated Statements
This feature is applicable for all contacts and accounts. The 'Generate Consolidated Statements' button can be accessed through the Accounts or Contacts tab. After the button is clicked, you will be asked for the FY End Month. Once the generate button is clicked, the record(s) will be inserted to the Consolidated Statements tab with the PDF attachments.
Download Consolidated Statements
This feature can be accessed through the Consolidated Statements tab. Statements must be generated first before you can download statements. On the Consolidated Statements tab, you can perform single or multiple downloads. Once the Download Consolidated Statements button is clicked, a zip file containing the PDFs will be downloaded.
Email Consolidated Statements
This feature can be accessed through the Consolidated Statements tab. Statements must be generated first before you can email statements. On the Consolidated Statements tab, you can perform single or multiple sending of email. Account/Contact checked must have the Statement Method as 'Email' to send the statement. This field is based on the Account/Contact Statement Method field. Once the Email Consolidated Statements button is clicked, email(s) will be sent with an attached PDF for each.
Bulk Donation Entry - Send Email Receipts
The default setting for Bulk Donation Entry Donations is that 'No Receipts' are sent out.
If you wish to send receipts via email, when you create the Bulk Donation Entry Template, add the Receipt field.
Then, as you are entering rows of donors, select "Email" in the Receipt field.
This will populate the Receipt Status, Receipt Method and Send Receipt Now fields on the Opportunity.
