Scheduling meeting and appoints made easier by this integration of outlook. We can create a meeting and send the invitation to the participants, then it will create an activity on every participant in Salesforce. Also, tracking events made easier.
To Schedule a meeting:
Go to the Outlook Calendar.
Fill all necessary information (Title, Location, and Attendees).
Click the Salesforce Icon on the Top.
The name of the participants will automatically sync with Salesforce contact and display on the list.
Click on Log Event.
You can make changes on the attendees that you would like to invite by clicking “Edit Logged Even” tick the box of the attendees’ name then click Save.
If you wish to see the calendar event recorded against the contact, go to Salesforce, open the contact and choose the Activity Tab. You should see the Calendar invitation.
