There may be situations were a completely new donor wishes to give a gift in person or over the phone. You can use Quick Donate to create a new contact, and process the donation. Start by opening the Quick Donate tab under the ProntoGiving App.
In the Donation Details section, the Opportunity Type, Donation Type, Donation Name and Amount are the required fields. So be sure to fill in those fields or else you’ll get an error message when creating the donation.
Now, go to Existing Contact/New field. Click New to create a new contact.
After clicking, it will display the required fields to create a new contact. Provide the following details for First Name, Last Name and Email.
After filling in all the rest of the required details, click the Save button.
It will redirect you to the donation that you created under the Opportunity tab. At the same time, it will create the new contact and corresponding Household account. You can check the status of your donation in this page.
